Using this service

Terms of Use

These terms govern use of KSA Prayer pages, timetable data and tools, and explain responsibilities and limitations in plain language.

Acceptance and eligibility

By accessing or using KSA Prayer, you agree to these terms and the related Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The pages are offered for general informational and planning purposes. A parent or guardian should supervise a minor’s submission of personal information through the contact form.

These terms apply to the public website, bilingual content, prayer-time tables, countdown, city directory and public data endpoints. Separate written terms may apply if the operator later offers a commercial data license, mobile application or partner integration. A link to another website does not make that website part of KSA Prayer or change the third party’s own terms.

Permitted use

You may view, bookmark and share links to public pages for personal, family, travel, education and ordinary community planning. You may quote a limited factual value with attribution when context makes clear that it is a calculated time and not an official mosque timetable. Automated access must be reasonable, respect server capacity and use a documented endpoint where one is provided.

You may not disrupt the service, bypass access controls, submit malware, probe for credentials, flood forms, scrape at a rate that degrades availability, impersonate the team or misrepresent calculated output as an official government or mosque publication. You may not remove branding from a copied presentation in a way that creates false authorship or use the service to support unlawful activity.

Content, branding and data

The KSA Prayer name, original design, explanatory text, code packaging and brand graphics are protected to the extent available under applicable law. Factual prayer times and geographic facts may not themselves be owned in the same way as original expression, but the selection, presentation, software and written explanation remain part of the service. Third-party names retain their respective rights.

No right is granted to create a confusingly similar service, sell the site’s branding, imply endorsement or republish the entire bilingual publication as a substitute. Requests for broader reuse or an integration should be sent through the contact page. Permission, if granted, must be written and may include attribution, update and accuracy requirements so users are not left with stale values.

Availability and changes

The service may be updated, suspended or changed to correct an error, improve security, comply with law or maintain hosting. A city, route or endpoint may be added or revised. We aim to preserve stable canonical URLs, but continuous availability is not guaranteed. Planned and unplanned interruptions can occur, and a visitor should keep a trusted local alternative for time-sensitive worship planning.

Calculation settings, coordinates and displayed content may change after review. A substantive method change should be documented. A correction can alter historical or future output. You are responsible for refreshing stored pages or downstream copies. KSA Prayer is not responsible for an old screenshot, browser cache, copied dataset or third-party application that fails to receive an update.

Responsibility and disputes

Use the timetable with the limitations stated on the page and in the Disclaimer. Confirm local iqamah and official announcements. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without a promise that every value will match every mosque, observer or alternative convention. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Before escalating a dispute, please send a detailed notice through the contact page and allow a reasonable opportunity to investigate. The notice should identify the URL, date, issue and requested resolution. These terms are interpreted under applicable law without inventing a contractual venue that has not otherwise been established. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent possible.

The service these policies describe

KSA Prayer is a focused bilingual utility for calculated prayer times in Saudi cities. Arabic pages are available from the root of the site and corresponding English pages are available under /en/. City pages show today’s timetable, the next calculated prayer, tomorrow’s main values and a full month. They also identify the city coordinates, time zone and calculation convention so a visitor can understand what produced the displayed result.

The service is independent. It is not a Saudi government website, a mosque, a university publication or an official calendar. The words “Umm al-Qura” describe the calculation settings; they do not state sponsorship or approval by Umm al-Qura University. The site is designed to support daily planning while making the difference between a calculated prayer-entry time and a mosque’s iqamah schedule explicit.

How to verify important information

For normal planning, compare the page heading, date, city and time zone before relying on a value. Refresh the page after traveling or returning to an older browser tab. When attendance at a particular congregation matters, verify the iqamah, Friday prayer, Ramadan program or Eid arrangement with that mosque. When an official authority publishes a timetable for a special event or holy place, that notice should be followed for its intended audience.

If two sources differ, record the city, date, prayer, displayed minute, calculation method and coordinates before reporting the issue. A difference can be caused by rounding, a safety offset, elevation, horizon conditions or another accepted convention. Evidence makes a correction request useful. It lets the team distinguish a software or data problem from an expected method difference and apply a change consistently across daily, monthly, Arabic, English and API output.

Related standards and updates

The About page explains the purpose and ownership stance of the publication. The Methodology page documents the calculation inputs and settings. The Editorial Policy explains review and corrections. The Privacy Policy covers data handling, while the Terms and Disclaimer explain permitted use and service limits. These pages are linked together and from the footer so a reader does not need to search for the rules that govern the service.

Policy text is reviewed when the site’s features, data practices or calculation logic materially change. A date is displayed on each trust page to show the current editorial review point. Dates are not changed merely to make a page look fresh. Where a policy update materially affects how visitors use the service or how contact data is handled, the new text applies from its stated effective date and earlier messages remain subject to the commitments made when they were submitted.
